DGC BC SUPERVISOR’S COURSE

The Supervisor’s Course is highly recommended for all full Members preparing to take the next step to work in a higher category. For those who have already upgraded, here’s a great opportunity to refresh your skills.

Since 2000, the DGC BC Supervisor’s Course has been a mandatory requirement for upgrade to Production Manager, Location Manager and 1st Assistant Director. To ensure our supervisors meet the needs of the future, the course was recently updated by the Training Committee. The course has been divided into three modules and to receive formal upgrade, Members must have completed all three.

Based on demand, the courses will be offered in the spring and fall. Avoid disappointment. Don’t wait until you get the day requirement for upgrade as it could be another 6 months until the modules are offered again.

Be it refreshing your skills, mandatory upgrading requirements or strengthening your resume for future work opportunity in an upper category… these modules have been designed for you!
